Last week the nation paused to remember the life and legacy of Congressman John Lewis. Congressman Lewis embodied the model of true leadership and it can be summed up in his call to action "...get in good trouble, necessary trouble."
Real leaders understand that their role to challenge the status quo and create opportunity for all to thrive. Congressman Lewis always encouraged young people to get in good trouble; be agents of change and justice.
As ULEAD Institute prepares to virtually resume our programs in the Fall, we will keep Mr. Lewis' mantra in the forefront of our minds. We will continue to equip students with the tools necessary to be leaders and unlock their leadership potential.
Join us on Saturday, August 22 for our Open House to learn more about ULEAD and our programs for the 2020-2021 school year like our new virtual workshop series, Leadership Labs.
August is Black Philanthropy Month (BPM) to support black-led nonprofits and elevate black philanthropy.
